Reply:Carnations are ultra cheap and can by dyed to fit any color.

For greenery try baby%26#039;s breath.
Reply:Whatever%26#039;s %26quot;in season%26quot; %26amp; you can get your hands on. At THIS time of year- there%26#039;s usually quite a bit... Shop around.
Reply:Baby%26#039;s breath or daisies.

There are always the free ones, dandylions. :)
Reply:Babys breath is a great gap filler. (It%26#039;s those sprigs of little white flowers) Also daffidols are cheap when in season, and Iris%26#039;s last for a long time when cared for.

Palm fronds cut to size and shape are great behind flowers in a vase.
Reply:Carnations
Reply:They don%26#039;t come much cheaper than the next door neighbours garden. Or, if you are looking for something a bit more exotic, check out the local botanical gardens :)
Reply:The ferns from asparagus are beautiful for greenery as well. I also use boxwood for greenery. As far as flowers, carnations last very well.
Reply:Try Gerbera Daisies. They%26#039;re inexpensive to grow yourself and they have a long shelf life in a flower arrangement. They%26#039;re also sturdy and versatile. Remember to include plastic tubes over the stems of Gerberas because they continue to grow long after they%26#039;ve been cut and placed into a flower arrangement. Leather leaf fern is one of the most popular and versatile choices for greenery. Good luck to you.
Reply:Carnations are beautiful and fairly cheap!
